Bridget Z

I began working in music in New York City as assistant talent buyer at the China Club. For the club, I wrangled talent at major record label and television network events and scouted new acts at venues like CBGB’s.  After that I worked independently for Sony Music executives in marketing music projects and continue to work with those guys.

I’ve also worked in marketing and sales in tech, gaining exposure to Internet marketing for hyper-growth companies.

Republic Project exposed me to designing and Web marketing for major acts such as Matisyahu, 311, Smokey Robinson and more. I also spend time helping the guys at Venture51, a seed and early-stage venture firm for cutting edge start-ups, several of them music community focused.

I focus on “Webifying” musical Artists, which means I help Artists look as great on the Web as they do on stage!  I also consult for Tourbox, LLC a company that connects major Artists to stadium-scale buyers in 20+ territories overseas.

Pricing Music Marketing in the (Highly) Disrupted Music Market

Artists, Managers and Entertainment companies, understandably, monitor every marketing dollar. Because of the Web, the music market is unrecognizable. But also because of the Web, there is more opportunity to reach very specific audiences, thus creating even deeper loyalty and consumerism!

To help keep clients at ease as they move to a new way to reach “their people,” I’ve gotten away from the traditional agency way of selling the engagement. In the past, I set a monthly retainer over a 6 mos. min plan and tailored the scope of work around that. If you have a budget for the usual pay-per-click, advertising and traditional PR, I recommend using that for better targeted design, organic SEO and community-building and Social Media Optimized PR.  Of course a killer publicity campaign is a great thing, but once “the house” or “the net” is built and optimized to catch the rewards. Every effort is tailored around conversion.

We’ve crafted the proposal process differently. We first present a “concept board” based on the new “funnel,” now made up of the many places niche communities hang out.

Each concept is explained with meaningful examples and what they can do with these to build “the list” and create a fanbase that is lead to engage and transact with the Artist. Then, each concept is assigned estimated project hours, depending on the objective, taking the client’s in-house resources into consideration and then priced in a proposal as a menu.

The client then can start by picking the top 4 or 5 concepts.  The menu items are modular, like a bento box, also allowing the client to sample each concept before committing to a long engagement.  Dating first.

The feedback I’ve received, so far has been great.  This approach truly gives bridget Z clients a visual understanding of this stuff, as well as the power to control the strategy.

Bridget Z “Captivating Tweeter” In Arizona Foothills Mag

It was cool to be mentioned in Arizona’s swanky mag, Arizona Foothills Magazine, with fellow Twitterers, like 3TV’s Cary Pena.  What was not cool (literally), but still fun, was trying to look composed for top Arizona fashion photog, Cassandra Tomei, in a Tempe parking garage in the 110 degree summer AZ temp.  Well at least we bonded and got an okay photo!

Whether for work or play, these 10 Valley Tweeters (Tweeple? Tweeps?) keep us captivated—in 140 characters or less.”

The first question they asked us was, “Why did you start tweeting?” My biggest reason has been the heightened accessibility to the people you need to be in front for better business efficiency.  I’ve been able to connect with people in all parts of the world using Twitter over the past few years.  You can check out the interview and nine other AZ Tweeters HERE!

Bridget Z Client, Alexandra Taveras Thanks Mya and Shontelle on SingersRoom.com

Reknown Salsa Pop singer Alexandra Taveras recorded a passion project in protest of Arizona’s Immigration Law citing that the enforcing of such a law promotes racial profiling.

Fellow pop sensations, Mya and Shontelle, sounded off in support of her song, “La Tierra de la Libertad” (“Land of the Free” in English), produced by Grammy Award winner Jose Luis Pagan with Executive Producers Chris Apostle, Jay Bildstein and Bridget Zeuner.

“I’m deeply humbled and honored to have my fellow artists back me up and to stand for the same thing that I’m standing for, but you know coming from them such big artists in the industry, it means a whole lot,” Taveras says of Mya and Shontelle. “It really, I’m honored to have them stand by me.”
